"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Ford Accessories

With Ford Accessories, you can give your car the ‘look, feel, and quality’ you have come to expect from Ford on the inside and out. Strict engineering requirements are met by every Ford accessory for “fit, finish, and durability.” Ford Accessories are things fitted by a Ford Dealer and are not listed on the ‘factory window sticker.’

Entering the vehicle’s VIN or ‘using the magnifying glass/search icon at the top of the page’ at “accessories.ford.com” will help you find the accessories you require. Your car is uniquely identified by its “VIN, or vehicle identification number,” which is made up of 17 alphanumeric characters.

Check for the VIN on a white label located on “the door frame at driver side” or the driver’s door. Additionally, it is mentioned on the ‘metal tag’ fixed to the dashboard towards the driver’s side, the nearest to the windshield. The VIN is also included in the paperwork that comes with your car, such as the “insurance policy, title, registration, lease, or promissory note.”

For selection of accessories in accordance to the ‘type’ (such as Bronco, Edge, Escape, etc.) of vehicle, and to see how the accessories will look on your vehicle, you can visit — “fordaccess.com/Ford.aspx”.

Members may redeem their FordPass Rewards at ‘checkout’ when purchasing accessories. At eligible dealerships, Rewards points can be redeemed to ‘pay’ for installation.

When you check out, the ‘installation cost’ will be included in your transaction and authorized on your card; however, your credit card won’t be charged for the installation until it’s completed at the dealership.

You may keep details about any of your vehicles using the “My Garage” feature (under your Account) to facilitate quicker and more precise searches.

You can contact the Ford Customer Resource Center by “clicking ‘Chat Now’ to talk with a representative” or by calling at 844-589-0060, both lines are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET. For any questions you have about “accessories, warranties, refunds, etc.,” get in touch with the Center.

Warranty -

Not every custom accessory bought on the website “accessories.ford.com” is an ‘Genuine Ford’ accessory, covered by a warranty from Ford. There are also “Ford Licensed Accessories” (FLA) on the website; these are not warranted by Ford; rather, the warranties for them come from the makers.

For the duration of your Bumper-to-Bumper New Vehicle Limited Warranty or “12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first,” Genuine Ford accessories are warranted. For the duration of your Bumper-to-Bumper New Vehicle Limited Warranty or “24 months or unlimited miles, whichever comes first,” Ford Original Accessories (FOA) are warranted.

For the duration of your Bumper-to-Bumper New Vehicle Limited Warranty or “24 months or unlimited miles, whichever comes first,” Ford Licensed Accessories (FLA) are warranted by the accessory manufacturer.

For ‘more information’ and a copy of the accessory warranty, get in touch with your neighborhood Ford dealer.

The majority of “Ford Performance Parts” (FPP), unless specifically stated differently, are sold without a warranty. For the most recent warranty information on particular parts/accessories, visit the FPP web page at “performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/”, or give the ‘FPP Techline’ a call at (800) 367-3788.

Note: – Customers in California can take advantage of “special” warranty coverage for any accessory in Ford’s portfolio starting July 1st, 2023. For this specific warranty, customers need to present the paper/electronic receipt showing the ‘date’ the accessory/part was supplied.

Returns -

Within 30 days of delivery, you may ‘return or exchange’ any qualifying “Motorcraft parts, Ford Parts, Omnicraft parts, Lincoln Accessories, Ford Accessories, and Ford Performance Parts.” Even Rewards points are restored to the account once the return is processed.

“Electronics, bedcaps, wheels, the Bronco hardtop (M10500HT), lubricants, chemicals, and custom-painted parts” are not eligible for return under any circumstances. Certain parts (such as certain electronics, safety-related products, etc.) might not be returnable if they have been ‘installed or opened.’ There are no returns or exchanges accepted for tampered “parts or accessories.”

After initiating a return, the accessory(ies) must be sent back within 7 calendar days. All exchanges and returns, unless there is a ‘Ford or dealer’ error, must be performed at your expense and returned to “Ford” (for purchases shipped directly to you) or the “dealer” (for items picked up from the dealer). Accessibility -

A Ford automobile/car can be customized to meet your specific demands in a variety of ways. There are several methods to decide on the necessary “adjustments” with proper understanding. A visit to a ‘Driver Assessment Center’ is the most thorough.

The Center has “driver rehabilitation educators” (typically occupational therapists) on staff who can ‘assess your needs’ and assist in teaching you how to operate a car equipped with adaptive/customized accessories.

“Steering Devices, Hand Controls, Wheelchair Restraints, Parking Brakes, Wheelchair/Scooter Carriers, Power Assist Seats, Wheelchair Ramps, and Wheelchair/Scooter Hoist Lifts” are examples of available supplementary equipment, depending on the vehicle.

“Pedal extensions, ‘Keyless Entry and Ignition Switches,’ Assist handles, ‘Lumbar Support and Headrest Adjustment,’ Remote Lift Gate Opener, Power Seats, ‘Seat Belt Extenders and Seat Modifications,’ Running Boards, and Special Mirrors” are also examples of available supplementary equipment, depending on the vehicle, but these might need additional confirmation from a licensed medical expert.

Not ‘every’ kind of adaptable equipment can be installed in every vehicle. Before making a purchase, please have an evaluation and “consult with a ‘mobility dealer’ to confirm that the adaptive equipment is compatible with your car.” Please visit “ford.com/accessibility/assessment/” to find out a dealer and for useful ‘financing’ choices.

You can save a lot of money on your adaptive equipment by entering Ford through the “Ford Accessibility Reimbursement Program” or Ford Partnership Organizations/Foundations.
