Georgia (GA) is the biggest state east of the “Mississippi River,” covering an area of around 59,000 square miles. GA’s topography stretches from the northeast and north “mountains” to the southeast Coastal Plain. At 4,784 feet above sea level, “Brasstown Bald” is the highest peak in GA, and sea level near the coast is the lowest.

One of the smallest states and to the west of the “Appalachian Mountains” is Indiana (IN); its southern region is known for “rolling hills, waterfalls, and caverns,” while the northern two-thirds are mainly made up of flat plains and a large number of tiny lakes. Indiana is situated in the Midwest, in the Great Lakes region of the United States. The 17th most populous state in the union is Indiana.

The state of Florida (FL) which is situated between “the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico,” is the most southeast state in the USA. Florida's terrain is low and level, with a mild incline from the center to the coast and from the north to the south. Florida has 823 miles of sandy coastline. It is the state with the third-highest population in the union.

The state of Texas (TX) in the USA is “in the south-central part of the USA”, "mostly in the northern hemisphere (but parts of it extend into the southern hemisphere)", "near the western end of the southern pine belt", "on interstate 35", and "on flat plains or rolling plains (there are mountains to the west)". The 1,254-mile Texas border, which runs from the Gulf of Mexico to El Paso, makes up roughly half of the border between the USA and Mexico.

The “City of Oakland”, located in the geographic center of the “San Francisco Bay Area”, is one of the most attractive cities in the California because of its “breathtaking views of the bay, parklands, open spaces, fantastic weather, vibrant cultural scene, and closeness to the Pacific Ocean”. The "county seat" of California's "Alameda County" is Oakland.
