"Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

US - Politics - Election

A “Separate Segregated Fund” (SSF) is a type of “Political Action Committee” (PAC) established by “corporations, labor unions, trade associations, or other organizations” to engage in political fundraising and expenditures. A “Separate Segregated Fund” (SSF) is the technical term under federal law for what most people call a “connected” political action committee (PAC).
A Political Action Committee (PAC) is “any group, association, structure, or other gathering of people” formed with the intention of “supporting or opposing” a political party, an initiative, referendum, recall, or “the candidacy or election of an individual to a position of leadership.” No candidate, public official, or “individual representing a public official” controls or coordinates the PAC.
The people do not directly elect the USA “president and vice president.” Rather, the Electoral College process is used to select them. There is no physical location for the Electoral College. To win the “presidential election,” a candidate must receive the support of “at least 270 Electors,” or “more than half of the total electorate” of the Electoral College.
